À L’OMBRE DES NUAGES, chapitres IV – V prolonge directement son approche du récit visuel en peinture. Le projet puise dans son imaginaire pictural et en transpose les atmosphères dans le champ de l’animation. Les tableaux prennent vie et la temporalité se déploie, devenant une métaphore du monde contemporain : un espace instable et imprévisible, mais traversé d’éclats de beauté.
En animant son propre univers pictural, Roegiers élabore une allégorie sensible de notre époque. Il explore les transformations, les incertitudes et les fragilités qui façonnent nos sociétés, tout en préservant une dimension poétique ouverte sur l’imaginaire. Les métamorphoses visuelles, les rythmes narratifs et la qualité onirique des images invitent à une pluralité de lectures, entre contemplation et réflexion.
