Depuis 2020, Antoine Roegiers développe avec À L'OMBRE DES NUAGES un récit pictural en constante évolution, nourri par la tradition de la peinture flamande. Construit à travers une série de peintures peuplées de figures masquées, d'animaux et de paysages en transformation, ce récit compose une allégorie poétique d'un monde contemporain instable, entre catastrophe et contemplation. Au fil de son développement, les peintures prennent peu à peu vie et se développent à travers des films d'animation, où le récit pictural se déploie en mouvement et dans le temps.

Since 2020, Antoine Roegiers has been developing À L'OMBRE DES NUAGES, an ever-evolving pictorial narrative rooted in the tradition of Flemish painting. Built through a series of paintings populated by masked figures, animals, and shifting landscapes, the narrative forms a poetic allegory of an unstable contemporary world, oscillating between catastrophe and contemplation. As the project evolves, the paintings gradually come to life and develop through animated films, where the pictorial narrative unfolds through movement and time.
